Advancing the rights of persons with disabilities

Our Mission

Concern Services for Disabled (CSD) has come into being for materializing the dream of -- man for man and life for the sake of life. CSD is greatly inspired by the saying of Neil Armstrong the space conqueror. He said “A single step for man, a giant step for mankind”. One single step of each man taken together becomes the giant leap for the whole mankind.

Our Vision

CSD’s vision is to be the leading rehabilitation and welfare organization of the disables and autisms to enable them to be the part of the main stream in developing the nation and establish their rights, so that the distressed and deprived disables and autistics can lead a tolerably easy life and achieve easy self-dependency.

Mr. Iqbal Khan and Mr. Arun Dasgupta closely worked with Mr. Biswajit; giving his thoughts and aim a permanent structure through establishing CSD. The name ‘Concern Services for Disabled’ in short CSD was given by Professor Dr. Tofail Ahmed who is the Professor of Public Administration, Chittagong University as well as the Member of CSD’s Advisory Board. The key persons for whom CSD came into establishment are Professor Mohammed Khaled (Late), Professor Dr. Anupam Sen, Professor Dr. Jamal Nazrul Islam (late) and Professor Shayesta Khan. Their overall guidance and assistance and involvement with CSD gave the true base to the organization. After the name being determined, it was then Mr. Iqbal Khan who took the oath as the President and Mr. Biswajit Gupta Bisu as the General Secretary.
